I'm Alan Pechner the owner of ALAN'S Custom Lighting Repair. In 1993 I opened ALAN'S Custom Lighting Repair providing a full service lighting repair and parts shop. I have been in electrical construction, renovation and repair business since 1951. I have 26 years of electrical construction, renovation, and repair experience in New York City. Since relocating to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area in 1977, I've had 8 years experience as a preventitive maintenance electrician. For 14 years I was an electrical property assessment inspector for the Smithsonian Institution. Working with decorators I've designed and installed residential lighting systems. I've been repairing and restoring light fixtures, chandeliers, table and floor lamps throughout my career.
